Food For The Poor Canada
Food For The Poor Canada (FFTP-Canada) is part of a strong network of international charities dedicated to alleviating poverty in Latin America and the Caribbean. Ferdinand Mahfood answered the call of God and founded Food For The Poor in 1982 inspired by Matthew 25:40 (NIV):
…Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.
Our Strong Global Network
For over 42 years, Food For The Poor has developed relations and grown to be a part of a strong network of international charities dedicated to changing lives in Latin America and the Caribbean. During the years, Food For The Poor entities were established in different countries. Though incorporated in 1991, Food For The Poor Canada was officially launched in 2008 under the leadership of Samantha Mahfood, the niece of the late Ferdinand Mahfood.
